The Nikon D3100 digital SLR camera has been at the top of my wishlist for several months now but I can’t help to wonder about it’s Canon equivalent, Rebel T3. Both seem to be equally compatible when it comes to high def capabilities and simplistic functionality. The price comparison is also relatively close. Not too sure about this one, maybe now would be a great time to flip a coin…

Just finished another one of Malcolm Gladwell’s books. In Blink The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, Gladwell discusses various scenarios to which we make decisions and quick judgements. The book’s concept of rapid cognition also highlights how our minds are wired to draw conclusions in a couple seconds.

Found this little happy hut of great seafood gumbo, shrimp and fish in northwest Houston. The Catfish Station. Great food and nice people. Plain and simple. Thought I’d share it.

A good friend told me about this wonderful portable product that would convert my old dusty Mint Condition, Troop and Paper Boy cassette tapes into mp3 files..Really? I had forgotten all about those tapes! And sure enough after fumbling around on the web I came across the Ion Tape Express Portable Tape-to-MP3 player. Needless to say that I have a special place for those old cassettes now. Nice.

Unfortunately this untimely disease can poison even the most organized individuals and business professionals in any industry. It has definitely made its rounds in my office plaguing anyone showing even the slightest hint of laziness.

Procrastination not only hinders our ability to move toward our goals but also affects the quality of our work. Think about it. After the procrastination has run its course and you finally decide to get off your lazy ass there’s always an increased possibility that your interest or desire to complete a project has diminished, therefore affecting the overall quality of work.
For whatever reason we tend to believe “I’m going to get it done sooner or later” the “later” always seems to reign supreme. I started noticing the procrastination plague had welcomed itself at my doormat right about the time I began working on more projects.
At first I thought that maybe I was just too busy to do everything but even if that had been the case I could’ve have just cut back on my workload, right? I had sold myself a wooden nickel — and obviously being overly occupied wasn’t the issue. The issue was that I was putting things off until tomorrow, and when the tomorrow came I would put it off until the next tomorrow. Thus creating a ridiculous to-do list with various tasks and projects that seem to create a busier environment that it really was. Bottom line? Stop putting shit off and get to it NOW!

The new fragrance Burberry Body for women made its debut last week in over 150 countries worldwide. I have yet to get my hands on a bottle but certain that this “luxury chypre” will become a popular fall fragrance.
Smells like: fruity composition that begins with notes of fresh green absinthe, peach and freesia. Roses and iris are in the heart, leaning on the base of sandalwood, cashmerean, musk, amber and vanilla.
